COSCUP Junior Workshops¶
COSCUP is reaching out to the younger generation. If your children are interested in the following courses and meet the appropriate age requirements, feel free to sign up. This year, we once again have our community partner Accomdemy - Technology Learning Companion to assist with designing and conducting junior workshops: 'Welding Made Easy with a Partner' and 'Make Your Own Video Games'.
Below are the course descriptions in sequence.
Welding Made Easy with a Partner¶
Electronic welding is actually very simple! Join our workshop and learn anytime. We provide all the tools and materials; you just need to bring your curiosity. Sit down and let's light up the world of electronic welding together!
Course Content¶
- How to correctly and safely use a soldering iron
- Assemble your own custom badge by soldering electronic components
Audience¶
- 5th grade elementary school students and above
- Children below 5th grade must be accompanied by a parent
- Maximum of 10 participants per class

- Soldering iron tool set:

Make Your Own Video Games¶
Inspire children's curiosity about the world of programming through engaging video game interactions! Our course not only provides fun for the kids but also unveils the mysterious programming behind video games. Through this enjoyable learning experience, children will seamlessly grasp programming logic and develop creativity and problem-solving skills.
